At least one child in the family must have high functioning autism.
The family cannot already be receiving funds that cover all expenses and must have exhausted every other outlet.
The money can be for anything the board believes is directly related to the care/education of the autistic child (ie. Therapists, therapy rooms, materials, toys recommended by therapist or team, protective gear or home)
The family does not have to be from Wisconsin.
The family cannot have history of abuse or be in a current investigation for child abuse.
We will not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation or lifestyle, ethnicity, or cultural orientation. In fact it is the opinion of the organization that these factors are irrelevant in the determination of funds.
Secondarily, funds can be used for scholarships for people seeking education in autism/therapy. The board will set the guidelines for this at a later date. For the first year – 2008 the funds, if any, will be used for the primary reason.
